Greetings, Floriani faithful, and happy Thanksgiving!
As we prepare for our brief Thanksgiving break, we have much to be grateful for. Towards the end of October, we did our second release of Chants of Deliverance, with great success! Not only did we have more interest in the CDs than in the initial release, but we have also reached people around the world, having released the album on streaming platforms and YouTube. The YouTube video of the full album has already reached over 400K views, and introduced Floriani to an audience spanning the globe. In addition to this, Ignatius Press is now selling Chants of Deliverance on its website and in its catalog, and it is their top selling album—even ahead of Andrea Bocelli’s Believe!
Since our last newsletter, we have travelled extensively. From Atlanta to Nashville, Houston to Massachusetts, our mission has taken us around the country in just the last month. We have educated in schools K-12, such as our favorite, St. John Bosco Academy, as well as universities, such as Belmont University and Franciscan, and our performances have taken place in churches, multi-million dollar homes, hotels, and even cocktail bars.
To crown it all, we were received by our beloved Alma Mater, Thomas Aquinas College (albeit the East Coast campus), for a concert which really brought home to us how far we have come since graduating that place where our mission took form. We hope you enjoy the photos of our travels below! Also, make sure to continue reading, as we have exciting announcements for you.
FLORIANI FEATURED IN
In an interview with the National Catholic Register, Giorgio represented Floriani for an article highlighting the revival of sacred music in the Church.
"Devoted to preserving the Church’s tradition of sacred music, the men’s choral vocal ensemble Floriani has sung at Masses and concerts in shrines, basilicas and cathedrals across the United States. This summer, they sang before thousands of pilgrims during Eucharistic adoration at the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis.
“'I don’t think we understood the gravity of it prior to coming to the Eucharistic Congress,' the ensemble’s founder Giorgio Navarini told the Register. 'They put us on the stage in the Lucas Oil Stadium, and there were 60,000 people in front of us worshipping the Lord.'"

STUDENT WORKSHOP AT
Giorgio traveled to Washington D.C. to host a sacred music workshop for the students of CUA.
"The Sacred workshop experience at in DC was a wonderful collaboration between Floriani & Catholic University of America. 35+ students showed up on a Saturday morning to learn about the importance of the sacred in the liturgy and produce an outstanding sung mass of the BVM. Another keynote was the debuting of my new 6 part composition, the Anima Christi, which made its premiere that afternoon." - Giorgio
