Dear Friends of Floriani,
As the year draws to a close, our hearts are full of gratitude for you—and for the many ways God continues to work through our music to touch hearts and draw people into a deeper experience of His Love.
Just in these past months alone, we had the joy of offering a keynote and concert for the University of Mary’s Prayer Day, followed by helping lead their first-ever “Grog n’ Song” night, where students gathered in the campus pub to sing, laugh, and raise a glass together. Not long after, we visited the Upper Peninsula for a deeply moving concert at the St. Peter’s Cathedral in Marquette, Michigan, and earlier this month we returned to Phoenix to share our rich repertoire of Advent and Christmas music. Joe Daly joined us for these final concerts in the place where it all began, passing the torch to our new bass Lee (meet Lee below!).
We hope you had a blessed Christmas and are still savoring the joy of this holy season. Your prayers and support are the reason we are able to bring the beauty of authentic Catholic sacred music to so many people, in so many places.
When the four of us first gathered at the end of 2020—talking about leaving our jobs, moving to Arizona, and seeing whether Floriani could truly become a reality—we could not have imagined what five short years would hold.
The year 2025 has been one of tremendous blessing and labor:
We spent over 100 days on the road, teaching and performing in more than 25 parishes, schools, and universities, including the University of Mary.
We were honored to be featured at the Palestrina500 Festival alongside some of the world’s finest ensembles.
Our music surpassed 10 million total streams, now reaching nearly half a million listeners every month around the world.
We launched our inaugural Floriani Collegium, forming 30 promising young sacred musicians from across the country—and the world.
We led our first international sacred music pilgrimage, with registration for 2026 now open.
Giorgio led a small group of Floriani scholars to provide music at FOCUS International SEEK ’25 at Cologne Cathedral in Germany—an opportunity of a lifetime.
And we devoted countless hours to preparation for our soon-to-be-announced album, which will be recorded in early January.
Looking ahead, we believe the coming year will be another leap forward for the mission. Through concerts, recordings, education, and pilgrimage, we hope to reach millions—tens of millions—of people who might otherwise never encounter the beauty and reverence of the Church’s sacred musical tradition.
We are only here because of your generosity.

Welcoming Our New Bass: Meet Lee Rea
(pronounced LEE RAY)
We’re also delighted to share some exciting personal news: James Lee Rea III has joined Floriani as our new bass.
Lee brings not only a wonderful voice, but a deep love for sacred music—and for the life of prayer and relentless effort that sustains it. We’ve already been deeply grateful for his musicianship, humility, and brotherhood, and we’re thrilled for you to get to know him.
A fellow Thomas Aquinas College graduate, Lee is a husband (married to Gracie for exactly one year!) and a new father to Melissa, born October 1st. We are truly blessed to have Lee—and his family—on the team.
Look forward to our interview with Lee, where Lee shares more about his background and antics, his journey to Floriani, and what sacred music means to him.
FLORIANI ’26 PILGRIMAGE TO ITALY

Tuscany, Assisi, and Beyond
One of the most meaningful fruits of this past year was leading our first international sacred music pilgrimage to Poland—an experience rooted in prayer, beauty, fraternity, and cultural immersion in the places where our musical and spiritual heritage was formed.
We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for our 2026 pilgrimage. This journey will unite sacred music, the liturgy, and fellowship as we visit the glorious heart of central Italy. Following in the footsteps of St. Benedict and St. Francis, participants will have the opportunity to pray, sing, listen, and encounter tradition and culture in a living way.
For the next two weeks, registration is open exclusively to Floriani Patrons. Space is limited, and we want to give our generous supporters first opportunity to secure a spot on what promises to be another transformative adventure.
You can learn more and register HERE.
A Year-End Invitation
As we look toward January, we are preparing to record our next album—a project that requires careful production, wide distribution, and the highest artistic standards so that this music can truly reach and serve souls around the world.
If you are able, we invite you to consider making a year-end gift in support of this recording and the broader mission of Floriani. Your generosity directly enables us to produce, distribute, and share sacred music worthy of the Church’s tradition—and to make it accessible to people who may never otherwise encounter it.
Please know how honored and humbled we are by your trust. We strive to be worthy stewards of the gifts you entrust to us, and we are deeply grateful for your prayers, encouragement, and support.
St. Florian, pray for all our donors.
With heartfelt thanks,
Floriani
