The Neum June 2024

Chant Camp students sing through a warm-up before beginning their day!

A HUGE SUCCESS:

CHANTS OF DELIVERANCE

At Pentecost we released our first ever studio-recorded album, Chants of Deliverance, and the results have blown us away.

By the grace of God (and lots of hard work), nearly 1,600 people have purchased Chants of Deliverance, from 29 countries. We had customers from:

Australia Germany Malta Puerto Rico Switzerland

Austria India Mexico Seychelles Trinidad & Tobago

Belgium Indonesia Netherlands Singapore United Arab Emirates

Canada Ireland Panama South Africa United Kingdom

Croatia Italy Philippines South Korea United States

France Malaysia Poland Sweden

Thank you so much to those of you who helped make this a reality and for supporting us and our mission with your purchases.* We especially appreciate your patience with us as the CDs are being prepared to ship!

Nota bene: We were so pleased with this album's release that we've decided to do it again. You'll be hearing more about this soon!

*We apologize to any and all who experienced technical difficulties in purchasing and accessing the album. This release has given us lots of helpful feedback, and we are integrating the inputs to make everything run more smoothly for next time.

ANOTHER SUCCESS:

CHILDREN'S CHANT CAMP

June 3-7 we hosted our second Children's Chant Camp here in Tempe, AZ.

We couldn't have asked for a better group of kids!

We had over 80 student participants; we learned some brand new material composed by our very own Giorgio; and we made sure to take plenty of photos to share with you.

Enjoy the slideshow!

And some of our star students chanting the communion antiphon, Quicumque Fecerit.

GIORGIO IN FRANCE:

PROVIDES MUSIC FOR CATHOLIC CONFERENCE

Giorgio has been in La Londe-les-Maures, France for the last week

attending & providing music for a conference sponsored by Pro Civitate Dei.

Pro Civitate Dei is an organization dedicated to restoring Catholic culture "in a rich liturgical and intellectual environment inspired by Christian conviviality." They hold conferences in France, US, and Chile, and have successfully united people from all over the world in a spiritual movement to enact a Catholic culture. (Learn more about Pro Civitate Dei here.)

Giorgio was invited to provide the music the liturgies taking place during the conference, and was happy to oblige.

Here is a video of Giorgio singing the Anima Christi in one of the churches they visited!

In the next month...

WE'RE GOING:

MENTORSHIP OPPORTUNITY

 WITH THE KING'S SINGERS

We mentioned in the last newsletter that Floriani had been accepted into a Summer School for vocal ensembles.

It is to be hosted at Princeton University, June 24-28, and includes one-on-one coaching from an assortment of expert guests, including prestigious British a cappella group, The King's Singers.

With humble thanks to a very generous donor, our trip has been funded and we are excited to share with you that we will be attending this summer school next week. We can't wait to let you know how it goes!

WE'RE GOING:

NATIONAL

EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS

July 17-21

Floriani will be attending and tabling at the 10th National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis, Indiana.

A Eucharistic Congress is a gathering of clergy, religious, and laity from across the country (or world!) to bear witness to the True Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.

The U.S. has not held one in 83 years, so this is a pivotal moment for the Church in the U.S. This will be the 10th National Eucharistic Congress, taking place over 5 days, and upwards of 50,000 people have signed up to attend. It will feature a number of incredible guests and speakers from the Catholic world, including (but not limited to) Bishop Robert Barron, Fr. Mike Schmitz, Sr. Miriam James Heidland, Sr. Bethany Madonna, and Jonathan Roumie!

This is a great opportunity for Floriani to share our mission with the rest of the Church, and to inspire people with our music. If you're there, come by our table to say hello!

Lastly, we are very excited to be singing for two Byzantine liturgies and one Holy Hour during the Congress. It is going to be a powerful experience, with thousands of Catholics joining together, physically and spiritually, in witnessing to our Faith and adoring Christ in the Eucharist.
